<--and joan is back from camp!--> sat, 27dec: xmas party! nathaniel brought his girlfriend. nice food! mama made chicken pie YAYY! and we got shepherds pie too. sandra made cupcakes.:)) the games were pretty fun too.:D they gave a paper with cars and ask us to guess the brand and model of the cars. and another game was they gave a paper with landmarks/building and ask us to identify. and then: DONT FORGET THE LYRICS! haha. christmas songs. my family got frosty the snowman and we totally didn't know it. then everyone was singing along and aunty jenny didnt realise that we alr stopped at the blanks and went on singing. so she told us the answer, really.xD soso hilarious:)) and then some lateral thinking quiz which we totally flunked.Dx and presents! haha. got precious moments notebook and mechanical pencil plus a watch.:) YAY. sun, 28dec: campday1 had regualr service, which was SIAN. and chwee kueh again. and then cause papa went to toong chai and my mom went to heartland mall with michelle ahyi so i couldnt get into the office to get my stuff.D: eventually aunty lily helped me to get in.:) went to tampines mall for lunch. chicken rice. then took 29 to changi. the chalet was plain ulu. the toilets are freaky, esp at night. one particular one was very dim. the master bedroom was creepy. the closet was old and wooden and rickety. the girls took the biggest room and koped the mattresses from the other room and we all crammed on the four mattresses on the floor.x) mon, 29dec: campday2 pulau ubin cycling. started out okay-ish. we had to go round the island to get pictures of landmarks and things. yup. and then Someone Very Smart decided that hey we should take a shortcut and there was a path labelled UNSAFE but this uncle person said we could take the path. so we took the damn thing. what a horrible decision. the path was filled with mud. the WHOLE thing was a freaking swamp. really. any patch of dry soil was considered a blessing as compared to the ankle deep mud which sucked our shoes and bikes in. and samuel's slippers broke and got lost in the mud. then most of the guys took off their shoes/slippers and went barefoot. the bikes were sooo caked with mud even the seat had streaks of mud. and the path is some places was so narrow plus we had our bikes plus there were all these plants sticking into our faces. there was one bit chloe's bike got caught on a low tree and she dragged the bike and the branch snapped back into my face. kept getting stuck on stupid rocks and the mud. and guess what, we took ONE HOUR to walk ONE BIG ROUND and ended up at the same place. IT. WAS. FREAKING. ANNOYING. we spent one freaking hour getting lost in the jungle only to get what, muddy legs and ruined shoes? thanks for nothing, smart alec. then had lunch. it was pretty good. ordered dishes and rice. went back, had a good bath after that mud spa. thank you GOD for toilets, though dim and freaky as they are. then indoor games. i love bang bang you're dead. then dinner. EVERYONE was complaining about missing 小 娘 惹 because it was the two-hour special. and people were suggesting: lets have the message until 8 then we have a break and continue the message at 10. yeah right. fat hope. and then WUTS. we were totally clueless about it it turned out to be Worship Under The Stars. we went to changi beach ad sat on a HEE-UGE plastic sheet like the construction workers type. and had a campfire out of lightsticks. haha and we played lame camp games like the New Friend Found dance thing. and Father Abraham. i was sandwiched between isaac and jason. this is what they said about the dance. isaac: this is so spastic! jason: i didnt know father abraham had spastic children. isaac: aiyo got so many, one or two will turn out spastic then we talked abit, and then amos decided it was time to go back cause it was one plus alr. then we took a group photo. joy was trying to take it rather unsuccessfully. avril: joy, are you sure you have experience? someone: ouch. that hurts. avril: whoops! sorry! erm... GO JOY! and we went back and collasped. tues, 30dec: campday3 had devo for sooo damn long. i was starving like mad before we packed up and left for breakfast. all of us somehow crammed into jialin's car and amos' van and went to changi village to eat. i got a peanut pancake and ice milo. and my phone died.x( the jialin gave me a ride to yishun mrt. where i obviously took mrt home. while reading the resistance. THE DECLARATION ROCKS! read THE DECLARATION! and the resistance too.:):):):):) erm. went back, ate, collasped. sleptslept from 2pm all the way to 630. i must have been dreadfully exhausted. watched yitian YAY! today. theres watchnite service later. im prob. going to stick with the little kids again and scream in room one. beats having to sit with the adults and listen to boring people talking about boring stuff. yawn. i want to watch yitian. i think zhao min look loads better in peasant clothes than her weird rich girl ones. did you realise that all the girls start with Z. Zhao Min. Zhou Zhi Ruo Xiao Zhao Zhu 'Er haha. joan

random fact of the day: i shall be going to jurong point to get my new glasses later!;) something to say: HELLO! tag and do my test:) song stuck in my head currently: Hey There Delilah-Plain White Ts upcoming events: tomorrow 27dec-xmas party, 28-30- YA CAMP! yay. yesterday i spent the whole afternoon packing for camp;D YAY CAMP! the veryvery sad thing is: chloe isnt going on the first day, and shana going back on the second dayD: and they're the only people in my class other than the boys and ginnete whos going for all three days. VERY sad. i shall be playing tomorrow for xmas party. yay. i hope i won't embarrass myself with my lousy guitar playing skills. i think i should go tune it. byebye. joan

random fact of the day: the tip of my fingers are peeling from guitar.D: random fact of the day #2: i bought canvas shoes to paint!!!!!:) finally:DD something to say: thank you God for diffusion. current mood: [-.-]sian. pressie counter: 2 upcoming events: YA CAMP!!! you are invited.:P yay finally coming mann! joan is excited.xP ytd was my dad's bday. me and jayne woke up at like, 630 to pack the house and make breakfast.:) noodles with mocha:)) and we made a cake and did chocolate icing!:DDturned out the cake was too dense and the icing to sweet but oh well.:) me and jayne had fun snatching over spreading the icing. i got it on my shirt.:X exchanged prezzies in church. turns out that shana was my angel. i did charlottes. i got 2 prezzies so far. had guitar. maddy didnt go.D: wahh. so had to share scores with grace cause mine doesnt have the markings for fingerings and dynamics and stuff. mr chua made us play some bits one-by-one. UGHH. i suck. YAY i don't have to go for ccao!!! joan is happy.:DD went to jalan besar to get some Adobe Creative Suite 4. it was some academic thing at $99! WOW. apparently outside selling $900++ as student price. $3000 for non-student.:) it was some collaboration with MOE or sth. anyway, its got photoshop CS4!! ohman ohman ohman!! joan is very happy!! tomorrow i shall give jane and maddy their pressies during guitar! 12.08.2008 post :#115! random fact of the day: i changed my blogthings. go see.:DD something to say: i love mossflower. I SHALL BE GOING TO AUSTIN HILLS TMR! it was pretty much lasti went there for camp in 06 and again in dec06 place ROCKS. 2 king-sized beds and a huge room where you can turn 5 cartwheels, simone told me. and a cool slide although you keep getting stuck on it. unless u sit on a float. or else theres this part where EVERYBODY will get stuck. and if you get 3rd floor rooms, which is top floor, you can play badminton cause the ceiling is high. and we shall go eat food and tea again at jusco!:DD yay to the cheese spaghetti!:D last sat huiying church people came. it. was. freaking. noisy. they were watching some my hope singapore evangelistic movie. i gotta say it was GOOD. really. huiying's cell people brought their non-believing friends to watch. they got pizza and chips and LOADS of drinks. we got 3 and a half bottles of leftover coke from them.:DD and they helped to mop and sweep after.;D haha. sunday was boring lessons. aunty lily took over. class was so darned dead. help. plus shana and dorothy and ginnete didnt go. normally gin's lessons alr boring enought luhh. haiz. went bishan library. i love bishan library.<3<3 the sentosa pics here!    this was taken on the tram. with our slippers! haha. joy's legs not long enough she was almost lying down on the seat.:) my sandcastle thing! jodi says its my birthday cake! jayne! meant to me a candid shot. but i called her name and she turned and happened to be in this position.:D joan

12.04.2008 went to sentosa on tues! i became self-appointed photographer:) took loads of pics. upload another time.
played sand most of the time. and brought jodi into the little pool thing to play. got SOOOO wet. gah. all jodi's fault. though she got wetter. she was drenched, to say the least. good thing we got extra clothes in the car.:DD then took a tram all around the place. took the sentosa express which is the monorail thinggy back and forth. its quite cute hehh. today jayne locked herself into the room and joy and jodi wanted to go in. and jayne didnt want jodi to go in. so joy tried to keep jodi out. j3(joy):jodi i want to go in, you cannot go in! j4(jodi): i waant to go in also! j3:why, jodi? j4: why, joy? j3: i want to take pencil lead! j4: i want to take pencil lead! j3: you don't even know what is pencil lead... j4: you don't even know what is pencil lead... j3: i know! j4: *pause* i know! j3: ugh. JODI!! totally reminds me of the yangguo-daerba dialogue when they were fighting. if you watched shendiao you'll geddit.:DD my tv schedule is hectic. 530-630: some repeat tv serial. fairly interesting. mostly cause im bored to death. 7-8: some channel8 drama. 9-10: some other channel8 drama that my mom and grandma likes so we all end up watching 10-11: some forensics-police show which is great. almost csi-ish. but in chinese lah 11-12: YITIANTULONGJI! YES AWESOME IT REPEATED! totallly the highlight of the day. but my mom doesnt like me to stay up so late just to watch. * pouts my eyes are sore. i wanna watch shediao. joan
